Wave Massage is an integration of Swedish, Vibrational, and
Reflexology techniques with live and recorded sound. After the body has
been opened up physically by these traditional massage methods, the
more subtle sound vibrations can be especially therapeutic.
The didjeridu, for example, often has an opening, loosening
effect, while the zither placed on the body seems to induce a state of
peace and relaxation. The sound of shakuhachi flutes, gongs, and
Tibetan bowls can also be very beneficial.
There has been quite an expansion in the last few years in the
field of brainwave entrainment, and I have added some of this new
cutting edge technology to the sessions.
I use the Nova Pro Sound/Light machine (which creates light and
sound pulses to match desired brainwave patterns) and a Vibroacoustic
bed which translates sound from two sources: 1) Live: thru microphone
(instruments mentioned above and more) and/or 2) Recorded : thru CDs,
some encoded with specific brainwave frequencies. These sounds are
converted via transducers in the sound bed into tactile sensation.
For more information or to schedule a session ($75 for 75
minutes) This month there is an introductory special price of $35 for
