Sonic Synergy uses Binaural Beat technology to encourage brainwave entrainment into specific brain states.

DETAILS OF BRAINWAVE STATES

Beta (12.5 hz – 40 hz) attention directed externally, alertness, cognition, ordinary waking consciousness (includes agitated monkey mind states)

Alpha (7.5 hz – 12.5 hz) relaxed, tranquil, daydreaming

Theta (3.5 hz – 7.5 hz) deeply internalized state with a quieting of the body, emotions, and thoughts. Provides access to the unconscious mind and enhanced retrieval of memories. Also; intuition, inspiration, deep reverie, creativity, accelerated learning and deep meditation.

Debra Nunes:

Debra Nunes is a Sound Therapy pioneer with over a decade of professional experience as a Vibroacoustic Practitioner, Educator, and Musician. She is certified in Behavioral Psychoacoustics and Clinical Neuroacoustic Therapy. She studied with internationally recognized Sound Scientist Dr. Jeffrey Thompson at the Center for Neuroacoustic Research, San Diego, CA.

Stephen Ross:

Stephen Ross has studied and played the shakuhachi flute, an ancient end-blown Japanese instrument, since 1979. He has performed extensively throughout the mainland, Hawaii and Europe. Over the past three decades, he has collaborated with a host of musicians and sound healers.  Currently he is developing a healing modality blending sound and touch he calls "Wave Massage.”

Taressa Bell:

Taressa Bell has been a singer/songwriter/recording artist since the late seventies, with a wide range of experience from performing in sacred sound ceremonies using Tibetan bowls with her six octave vocal range to lead vocalist in numerous bands, from world beat, kirtan to ambient trance.  She currently enjoys collaborating with meditative improvisational groups, her intention focused on healing and transformation with every tone.

Ken Becker:

Ken Becker, cellist, bassist, guitarist, instrument maker and audio/video engineer, finds sound a powerful medium through which to cultivate and share healing energy.  Performing and recording prolifically, stringed instruments are his heart's channel to instill peace and nurture inspiration.  Presently involved with a variety of ensembles as instrumentalist and engineer, ultimately, music as meditation is his ongoing practice.
